This beauty was created by using a 'snake gourd' and pyro engraving the details with leather dye for accent. A small 'Buffalo gourd' was attached to the top for a head with a Balsa wood 'Tableta' headdress. The 'tableta' and necklace are made with real Turquoise nuggets. On the base a pattern was hand carved and the wood was sealed for protection. The height of this beautiful gourds is approximately 17" tall. The colors are subtle shades of brown, tan, sage, lilac, and reds. There are 2 three strand tassel areas on either side of the gourd made of leather with the colors of light lilac and buckskin. This would make a wonderful addition to anyone home.
